parents: felix ravinstill & clemensia dovecote

i know i've said this so many times but i just wanted to make it clear: she's a HUGE daddy's girl. felix cannot say no to her. (unless he really needs to)

she plays the electric guitar and the piano. felix taught her guitar and clemensia taught her piano.

her family nickname is 'lie' (pronounced 'lee').

felix and clemmie used to read 'a little princess' to her all the time. whenever she sees the book/hears someone read it aloud to their children after felix and clem's death, she would tear up.

her favorite aunt was her auntie livia. her favorite uncle was her uncle hilarius.

she loves chocolate chip cookies.

she was the closest to achilles before their parents' death. the two of them would always gossip together.

she and marcella friend hated each other.

as a baby, clemensia would always sing 'baby mine' to her.

she loves reading and writing. (like father like daughter 🥹)

she plays golf and volleyball.

her makeup was always so good. (of course it was. her mom is THE clemensia dovecote)

as a child, she was close to pres. ravinstill, but as a teenager/young adult, she grew to resent him.

she had frequent panic attacks the first few years after her parents died. pres. ravinstill put her in therapy for that.

since she had three younger cousins whose parents also died, she raised them in their following years after their parents died.

she was the only one adamant to find out the cause of her parents and uncle & aunts' (the friend group) deaths. she found out on her 18th birthday.

she always wears a heart-shaped locket with a picture of her and her parents inside.

she's extremely protective of her friends and those she loves. (she's kind of like the livia cardew of her group)

she has a boyfriend named seneca crane. (arachne's nephew)

more oc (the ones in my hcs) headcanons!

after athena, aelia, plutarch, and achilles’ parents died when they were 14, they moved in with their grandparents.

aelia ravinstill reminded pres. ravinstill about felix. from her sass to her love of writing, it’s all felix. pres. ravinstill could cry thinking about it and wishes he could’ve been a better father figure.

if festus was alive when athena creed started dating achilles crane-cardew, he’d go full on protective dad mode. (though, if he didn’t die, the two of them might not even date)

athena took the parents’ death the hardest. everyone was mourning the loss of their own parents but athena was the worst. she’d dyed her hair darker as a sign of her grief. her sunny personality was now gone. she’d cry often and withdrew from social interactions. to make matters worse, her little brother, flavius, took his own life when he turned fifteen.

achilles was grieving over his own parents too, but he sacrificed his feelings by helping athena heal.

there were days where aelia would sleep in felix’s room in the presidential mansion. one night, she couldn’t sleep and found a box of his writings about clemensia. (stole the idea of writer!felix from @meekmedea, hope you don’t mind :) she’d then go to her old house, and compiled all her father’s writings into that box.

clemensia’s parents gave aelia clemensia's red dress for prom in the academy. they cried once they saw her in the dress.

plutarch heavensbee started taking drugs to cope with his parents’ deaths. (he was only fourteen 😭) but, he finally stopped when he was seventeen due to aelia’s demands for him to stop.

plutarch lived with the sickles and they were as strict as they were with vipsania with him. they still believed that the sickles needed to be #1. there was a time when plutarch was falling behind on his classes and he was forced to have extra classes until he could get back up to the top 5.

after they found out it was coriolanus that killed their parents, the whole group started to despise june ruby snow. especially since she was more like her father now.

moody teenagers getting kidnapped

So, the mentors' children, who are 13 in here, are on the way to a school field trip to the Capitol museum, and all of a sudden, their Professor and the bus driver gets knocked out by two masked men who broke into the bus and everyone is freaking out.

And during this time, they're very, very moody teenagers.

The kids just start yelling "Do you know who our parents are?!" at the masked men.

One of the masked men takes over and drives the bus to an abandoned house.

The kids start yelling even more.

He just tells everyone to shut up or he'll kill them in an instant.

Surprisingly, it works??

They arrive at the abandoned house, and the kids are pushed in there.

It isn't just the two masked men of course, there are five more in the abandoned house.

One of them says, "Alright, I'm going to call your parents to pay me a ransom of 50 million in order to get all of you brats out."

So, he does. He calls Coriolanus Snow and Lucy Gray first, and tells him to gather all the parents of the children at Coryo's penthouse and pay a ransom of 50 million.

And the parents are freaking out!

Felix and Clemmie are very worried, but they know Aelia will kick the kidnapper's ass and find a way out somehow because come on, she's a mini version of both Felix and Clemmie. (she got the Ravinstill punch and the Dovecote kick!)

Festus and Pippa are more worried than Clemmie and Felix are, because they know Athena is a sweetheart and won't hurt anyone.

Hilarius & Vippie and Livia & Arachne have a similar reaction to Felix and Clemmie.

Lucy Gray and Coriolanus Snow are FREAKING OUT. June Ruby is the smallest compared to all her classmates and is as pure as snow, she won't even flick an ant!

Io and Urban are also freaking out, because Albert is a nerd and doesn't know how to fight that well, despite having Urban as his father.

Apollo & Androcles, Lyssie & her husband, Iphigenia & Diana, Florus & Palmyra, and Juno & Domitia are nervous that their children won't be able to get out from there and that the kidnappers will kill their children.

Once all the parents are in Coryo and Lucy Gray's penthouse, he calls the kidnapper again.

The kidnapper's like: "If you all want your children, you must pay me a ransom of 50 million!", though it isn't really clear because of everyone either shouting or crying.

The six masked men are telling their kids to shut up but they can't really hear them.

The kidnapper has to repeat it ten times to the parents.

Now, here's when Aelia, Achilles, and Plutarch get to kick ass.

All of a sudden, Achilles knocks one of the kidnappers out with a pan he randomly found in the house.

This alerts the other kidnappers, so Aelia, and Plutarch help Achilles knock the others out.

The kidnapper on the phone tries to stop the kids, but he was in the middle of threatening their parents.

Their parents could hear all the fighting going on from the phone and they're all speechless.

Plutarch sneaks up behind the kidnapper, who's on the phone and knocks him out too!

All of the kidnappers are knocked out, and they find a way out! (they get out of the abandoned house and just walk in the Capitol streets until they see the Academy)

i hc that the friend group all became young parents when they're in their early 20s, so they're fresh university graduates and raising kids. it's kind of funny.

i imagine the girls are all just naturals at being moms and more mature than the boys are.

Hi! I'm so glad you like my headcanons!!

For those of you who don't know who Athena, Aelia (ay-lee-uh), and Achilles (uh-kill-eez) are, Athena is Festus Creed and Persephone Price's daughter, Aelia is Felix Ravinstill and Clemensia Dovecote's daughter, and Achilles is Arachne Crane and Livia Cardew's son!

Without further ado, here is my list of some of Athena, Aelia, and Achilles' shenanigans!

When they were babies, they'd play together and babble at each other whenever they see each other.

They got lost in the Presidential Mansion (Aelia's grandpa is the president) once and ended up finding a bunch of rooms the President didn't even know about. They were lost for five hours and Felix & Clemensia, Livia & Arachne, Festus & Persephone, and the President were absoloutely freaking out, but thankfully they knew that their kids were still in the mansion, because they found Aelia's black ribbon and Athena's blue one lying on the floor.

All 3 children find a window, and climbed down, and goes to the mansion's entrance and they find their parents two seconds away from going feral.

In the academy, they're all straight A students, just like their parents, of course, but Aelia and Achilles are extremely competitive. (just like their parents!) So, when Io Jasper and Urban Canville's son got a higher score than Aelia in Math, Aelia almost rips her hair out, and when Diana Ring and Iphigenia Moss' daughter gets a compliment by the debate teacher and Achilles doesn't, he breaks his pencils <3

Festus may be competitive, but Athena's mom is literally Pippa, I mean she's the sweetest soul ever! So, of course Athena is just like her mom.

Aelia definitely gets Felix's sass and Clemensia's personality, and Achilles gets Arachne's wit and Livia's charm.

Aelia and Achilles are scary. Athena is a cutie patootie who gets mad at them when they kill ants.

Achilles' favorite color is gold, Athena's favorite color is green, and Aelia's favorite color is red.

Aelia's nickname is 'Aelie' (pronounced ay-lee), Achille's nickname is 'Chilles' (pronounced kill-eez), and Athena's nickname is 'Thena'.

Achilles wants to grow up to be a politician, Athena wants to be a doctor, and Aelia wants to be a psychologist.

Achilles and Athena end up together <3

deaths explained + time travelling kids au

so, when achilles crane-cardew, plutarch heavensbee, aelia ravinstill and athena creed are fourteen, all their parents die.

after their parents’ death, the kids were extremely distraught and were full of grief (athena more so than the others).

and when they’re eighteen, they finally find out how and who killed their parents. they’re all revengeful when they find out it was the same person that killed their parents. coriolanus snow.

here’s how they died

felix and clemensia were killed in a car accident. festus and persephone died due to food poisoning. hilarius and vipsania had a posca overdose. livia and arachne both had a sudden cardiac arrest.

felix and clemensia had been the first couple to die. they were both on the way home to their fourteen-year-old daughter from a social event. then, they got into a mysterious car accident. all the cctv footages of the car accident were gone. they all mysteriously disappeared. no one was able to figure it out until their own daughter, aelia ravinstill did the day she turned eighteen.

festus and persephone had passed a week after felix and clemensia. similarly, they were both in an event. coriolanus offered them food, and they both simply started choking and death came for them. the cctv cameras were broken that night. later when flavius was sixteen, he’d then take his own life. athena was the only price-creed left.

(help i lowkey do not know how to explain livia & arachne’s and hilarius & vipsania’s…like it just happened. or maybe that’s what coriolanus said what happened…who knows?)

time travelling kids au (scenario one)

in this au, the kids create a time travelling machine with the help of io jasper and urban canville’s son: albert canville (much to aelia’s dismay). they’re not technically sure about this whole time travelling thing, but they decided it’s the only way they could get their parents back and make sure coriolanus doesn’t end up a total prick like he is now.

they test out the time travelling machine, and the group of four actually did it. albert canville actually did it. they were now in the beginning of their parents’ senior year.

since they were wearing the academy uniform, professor demigloss/dean highbottom thinks they’re new students and tells them to go to the orientation. the four of them see each of their parents there + coriolanus and they just panic.

this is the first time they’ve seen their parents & co. in four years and when professor demigloss tells them to introduce themselves, all four of them would go like: “uh, um, well” for a few moments until arachne raises an eyebrow and give them that look.

they just make fake last names similar (in a way?) to their actual last names. so now, they’re achilles byrd-shaw, athena cress, aelia heron, and plutarch whimslou. (i actually do not know.)

coriolanus is suspicious of them immediately. when he asked them “why did you guys just enroll in the academy when we’re about to graduate?” and “i don’t think i’ve ever seen you around before?”, but they always dodge the topic somehow.

they’re a few days in and then all of a sudden, albert canville and june ruby snow show up. though, this one was by accident due to june ruby accidentally stumbling across the time travel machine and albert just tries to hide it, and they hit the button by accident.

them being there creates more chaos and albert and aelia get into an argument in front of everybody and they’re all like: hey, they remind me of felix and urban?

and to top it all off, albert literally says: “well, at least coriolanus snow didn’t murder my parents!” in front of coriolanus snow himself.

everyone is just shocked.

the kids explain everything to them- except for the part whrre they’re some of their children.

coriolanus is now terrified and doesn’t murder his friends in the future.

everyone’s happy and well in the future and june ruby still exists!

i was going to add scenario two in here but the post was already long enough (also, i haven’t thought fully about scenario two at all😭), so it’ll be in another post coming soon!

i saw your tbosas mentors' kids time travel post and your mossring post and my brain is mashing those two together

so iphigenia and diana are in the treehouse, genie is working up the nerve to confess, when they're suddenly interrupted by a girl they've never seen before (surpise! it's solasta :D)

who needs a confession when you're daughter is right there!

lots of mushy feels between diana and genie, before solasta has to cut them off- 1) bc her parents being all lovey dovey in front of her is Not It and 2) because she came back here with a mission (okay, it was kind of an accident, but still...)

she sort of walked in on the other kiddos building the time machine, and a innocent question about what they were doing turned into them hastily trying to get her out of the room, and really, that machine wasn't very functional in the first place.

as far as solasta knows, she was the only one sent back because she woke up here alone (she's not alone, the other kiddos were just brought to where their respective parents are).

so now diana and iphigenia are on board the plan to Make Sure They Stay Alive And Also Their Kids Are Born (it's a long name, they'll workshop it later)

diana/genie: we're together :D diana/genie: also we have a daughter now other mentors w/ kids in tow: funny you should mention that...

same thing with coriolanus getting suspicious of the kids, but this time all their parents (who are in the know and do not plan on letting coriolanus know they're from the future) are covering for them. but they're not very good at coming up with lies on the spot so... :/

cue coriolanus losing his mind trying to work out wtf is going on while the kids get up to various hijinks because they keep accidentally mentioning things that don't exist (yet) as their parents desperately try to pretend that "they're just messing around, there's nothing suspicious about what they said at all, ha ha..."

things get a bit complicated when the 10th hunger games roll around bc the kids still don't have a time machine back. (but solasta meets her namesake and june ruby meets her mom! except now the kiddos are on a new plan: End The Hunger Games)

i feel like by the time the hunger games roll in, coriolanus probably would’ve figured out who the kids actually were, so what if the kids rolled in a bit later?

maybe a week or two before the hunger games?

so, instead of it being the academy orientation where they find their parents, the friend group jr. (i’m going to start calling them that now haha) finds their parents individually.

athena finds festus and persephone on one of their dates maybe, achilles finds livia and arachne in the capitol library, plutarch and aelia find their dads together while they were hanging out. their moms were nowhere to be seen, but they were too, together.

they all desperately explain to their parents. thankfully for athena and achilles, their parents seem to catch on, though for livia and arachne it took some time for them to believe achilles. (it’s also the fact that the kids look so much alike to their parents too)

hilarius and felix are confused until plutarch and aelia tell them to call clemensia and vipsania, and vip and clem just know that they’re telling the truth.

this is stupid but i feel like this is how they all found out solasta was there:

*at an academy event* solasta [with genie & diana]: aelia??? achilles??? athena??? plutarch??? the friend group jr.: sol???

and it’s worse when albert canville and june ruby snow gets roped in.

albert and june ruby being there causes more chaos and due to june ruby’s striking resemblance to coriolanus, (from the hair to the pale skin to the blue eyes) people have been suspicious.

aelia and albert get into an argument and everyone’s just like: yeah, aelia’s definitely felix and clem’s daughter.

and then, the hunger games roll in, and june ruby meets her mom and sol meets her namesake, and they try to end the hunger games for good.

in my head, i’m thinking that the kids don’t manage to end the hunger games, but they could end the 10th one.

the way they do this is that they tell the tributes in the zoo that there’s going to be a bombing, and they use that as an advantage to escape.

albert with the help of his mom, io, builds a time travel machine back and they all make it back.

they forget that they had another mission- to make sure coriolanus doesn’t go crazy and kill their parents in the future, so they go back and do it all over again.

basic information:

full name: athena flavia matilda aurora creed

birthday: december 3rd (during the year of the 16th hunger games)

she loves painting.

she loves all her uncles and aunts equally.

she was her mom's twin growing up. from her personality to her face, it was all pippa. (that's why she was festus' favorite)

she always loved art more than playing instruments, but she could play the violin.

she plays soccer. festus taught her.

her favorite color is blue.

pippa would always crochet dolls for her. athena would sleep with them every night.

she and festus would always go out for ice cream every sunday. now, she goes alone.

she loves going to beaches. it reminds her of the stories her parents told her about two kids named mizzen and coral.

after her parents died, she was severely depressed.

she would skip on meals, staying in her room all day, crying.

her grandparents, festus's parents, tried to give her antidepressant pills. she never took them.

she didn't know why achilles always stayed by her side. he should be grieving too, but she always enjoyed his company. they end up dating.

she and her other grandfather, nero price, were never exactly close. she stayed with the creeds after her parents' death. but she always noticed the pained look on his face whenever he saw her. one day, she asked him why, and he told her: "you used to be just like your sweet mother. now you're exactly like me. i don't want you to."

as a certified urban canville hater i absolutely need to know more about albert canville please!

albert canville is NOTHING like his sweet mother, io jasper. he's basically a mini version of urban.

urban raised albert to hate on his enemies' children: aelia ravinstill, plutarch heavensbee, achilles crane-cardew, and even athena creed (but albert secretly likes athena because she's actually nice to him) just as much as he hated their parents.

so, albert did. he would bully achilles for having two moms (even though they're literally amazing, cool, incredible and everyone knows that), he'd pull aelia's hair, he'd make fun of athena's red hair by calling her period-blood hair (it's very stupid and athena isn't affected by it at all. also, he doesn't wanna be too mean to her), he'd tell plutarch that he isn't even that good in sports and that he's seen better.

and, if it couldn't get any worse, he's also insanely smart, just like his parents. he's the top 1 in their grade, and he would always show it off.

he would call the cafeteria food obnoxious and complain about it.

he has like zero friends because everybody (well, maybe not athena) hates him like everybody (maybe not pippa) hated urban canville.

oc headcanons!

plutarch heavensbee is an absolute terror in gym class. (just like his mom :) he can play literally almost every single sport. i also hc that hilarius has fire martial arts skills, so plutarch's good at that too.

plutarch and aelia ravinstill always side eye each other whenever someone says something stupid/embarrassing/awkward lol

there is no one in their grade that hates athena creed. she's a complete sweetheart.

aelia ravinstill HATES albert canville.

achilles crane-cardew's whole personality revolves around basketball and his two best amazing, cool, GOAT moms.

june ruby snow actually lived in district 12 starting from when she was five, but she and her family moved back to the capitol when she was twelve.

plutarch, aelia and achilles have a kind of hard time welcoming her in their friend group. athena welcomed her immediately. but they did welcome her eventually.

aelia and athena are besties <3

they're all mini versions of their parents and their teachers are SO sick of them.

aelia is such a mini clemensia- she loves writing in red pen, and loves to wear bows and/or headbands. (she'll also talk back to teachers when she knows they're wrong, haha)
